Professional One Year Diploma in Animal Healing
Elizabeth’s pioneering Animal Healing School established in 2005 is the first to train and register graduates in Diplomas in Animal and Equine Healing with full insurance. Students work with dogs and cats: and includes time with guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles and bats. This vocational course has plenty of practical experience coupled with extensive theory notes.
This is a unique in depth course in animal healing based on the extensive training, experience and work undertaken by Elizabeth Whiter in her international animal healing practice. The focus of this course will be on cats, dogs and small animals, however two further hands on in depth courses will be offered to successful students allowing them to specialise in equine healing and animal self selection. Elizabeth is a fully qualified and insured animal complementary practitioner and author of The Animal Healer published by Hay House. She set up the animal healing training school in 2005 and has over 700 graduates, including four vets who have qualified in the Diploma. Elizabeth’s animal and human clinic in Sussex specialises in healing, diet and nutrition, self selection and behaviour and emotional problems. Elizabeth regularly works with and receives referrals from vets, doctors, zoos, animal rescue centres and charities from around the world and has secured healing placements for her students and graduates in animal rescue centres in Portugal, Sri Lanka, Cyprus, South Africa, Japan, Mexico, Egypt, Southern Ireland and the UK.
Elizabeth has been a professional healer of humans and animals for twenty years, and is a member of the Healing Trust, the Ingraham Institute of Zoopharmacognosy and The Healing Animals Organisation.

Course Philosophy and Vision:
The Diploma in Animal Healing has been established since 2005 and is associated with the Healing Animals Organisation which is a voice on behalf of animals, supporting the needs of many who have suffered physical, emotional and psychological pain. The website lists and promotes all qualified and insured animal healers from this Diploma course. The Healing Animals Organisation supports committed members who have trained in the Diploma of Animal Healing and Equine Healing with Elizabeth Whiter and helps promote and recognise members. Members of the public, Vets, animal sanctuaries and charities, rescue centres, and other professional animal care workers throughout the country can be sure they are working with a body of professional animal healers and have access to the register of qualified healers.

Length of Course: 1 year part-time
The Animal Healing Course is studied for one year part-time. This will involve attendance of 17 days, 150 hours over the year in Sussex for theory and practical sessions held onsite and regular visits to animal sanctuaries nearby. The Diploma course is held in the National South Downs Park, Sussex. Additional home study/Diploma assessments total time of course 300 hours. If students successfully complete all modules and coursework they will be eligible to take the final assessment day.

Diploma in Animal Healing Course Dates Sussex:
- Module One: 4 days 19th – 22nd January 2023
- Module Two: 4 days 13th – 16th April 2023
- Module Three: 4 days 6th – 9th July 2023
- Module Four: 4 days 5th – 8th October 2023
At module four there will be an interview with the panel to ensure that the course objectives and the learning outcomes are met.
To be eligible to take the final assessment day students need to have completed the following:
- Attendance of all four teaching modules
- Twelve animal case studies + follow ups
- Six assignments on common animal conditions
- Completed student log book
- Attendance of local healing groups to support students and practitioners.
