ATHIENOU DOG POUND FUNDRAISER 2025

A year ago, we set a target to reach £4000, so a fenced area can be built at Athienou Pound Cyprus.  This small shelter has 17 cages which is always full, and there is nowhere for the dogs to go out on a daily basis, run and play in safety.  They may get walked once or twice a week if they are lucky.

We are delighted to announce we have reached our target of £4000 and in January 2025 works have begun to fence off a very large area around the whole shelter. The Mayor Mr Karekla, came to visit the pound when we were working with the dogs last November.

We would like to thank each and every one of you, a special huge thank you go to Rita Lymboura, who has run with this challenge from day one.
